Our Story
In 2010, BridgeSTOR took its first steps by offering the Microsoft community an Advanced Data Reduction product for Microsoft DPM. After a few bumps, bruises with this strategy, BridgeSTOR received a Request for Product (RFP) from on e of the world’s largest Media and Entertainment organizations. The RFP called for a global namespace with global file locking, intelligent caching and a laundry list of other Enterprise features. This subsequent discussions represented a turning point for BridgteSTOR that ultimately sparked our imaginations and challenged our founders on how to rethink storage access locally and remotely. From this point forward, we decided to build out a scale out edge solution that would “check all the boxes” and exceed the expectations of even the largest Enterprise customers.
